My short story, Ribbon World, will soon be published in the Corona Book of Science Fiction: details to be announced.
Some of my other short stories will soon be published in a collection to be called ‘Parable Lives’. This is a varied collection of stories about life, belief, steel mills and cabbage strudel: including a very odd birthday party, a couple caught up in the Hungarian revolution, a disappearing pensioner and Xandra, the surprising vicar. The tales are full of original, fascinating insights into living with faith, war, loss, regret, misogyny and revenge. Readers meet a mysterious stranger on the Sussex downs, a green-clad earthy girl in a wood, a garden gnome with a surprising secret, and other characters fighting for love, survival and recognition, or simply trying to discover why there are an unusually large number of funerals in the town of Rugby.
